Yesterday Mitt Romney said of President Obama, "...he wants another stimulus, he wants to hire more government workers. He says we need more fireman, more policeman, more teachers. Did he not get the message of Wisconsin? The American people did. It's time for us to cut back on government and help the American people."

I support a decrease in our number of teachers, firefighters, and policemen. I completely value the service each one provides and they are real American jobs, but our number of teachers per student has doubled while test scores stay the same. The money used on extra police officers can be better used to reduce crime by equipping the existing officers with better equipment and training them better. We don't need more firemen for less fires. Their paychecks come from your pockets by the way.

It was NOT the people of Wisconsin who sent the message; it was big corporations and super-PAC money who protected one of the worse governors in the country. Besides, just who do they think these teachers, firefighters, and police are? They are members of the local community who will enrich the local economy by having these jobs. Just get out and vote.

I think what Mitt Romney does to renovate his own PRIVATE property at HIS EXPENSE is his own business. Besides, it's a great NO COST "stimulus" program for the construction industry in California, right?
