Watching this car plow into the corners seeing and knowing how nose heavy this car is,the car is all over the track. Seeing this and knowing such things greatly strip away track times. I would not trust the numbers 1:04.3. get real, the Z06 did it in 1:34.43. I don't favor one car brand over another. The numbers here are wrong.

go see the new 2011 best drivers car Z06. In 10 laps the new Z06 will be coming around to lap this big heavy tank. The new ZL1 Camaro should take care of this Mustang also :-) cant wait to see that. But it does well for a Ford and a mustang at that

@anocera17 Not the fastest mustang buddy. Also, ford improved the gt500 this year (stuck in 2010 huh?) so I do belive it now has the power, and handling to beat a corvette gs, which is still more expensive.

at the end of the day, the base model corvette is faster than the fastest mustang soo not sure what your point is. and you put about $6000 into a corvette it would smoke any GT500

The mustangs did have independent rear suspension for a 5 years, its to keep cost down, 4000 pounds, 4 seats, and quality, corvettes are cheap plastic cars
