Paradiso features Dante's third and final voyage along with the enigmatic Beatrice to the abode of God, his angels and the faithful. Paradiso is said to be less politically driven compared to the previous realms and focuses more on theological understanding.

************ Important Note ***********
Dante truly believed that his Divine Comedy was revolutionary; it was an undertaking which no man had ever attempted before. As a partially didactic narrative, Dante thought that his readers actually became morally better by reading his work. In Paradiso, then, he warns his readers that only few will be worthy (i.e., skillful and morally pure) enough to read to the end. So the theological discussions in Paradiso are a tests to weed out weaker readers in the hopes that only the best will stick around long enough to see God in the end.

This is part three slideshow storytelling I made on a summarized work of Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy. (My advice is not to use this for academic purposes, for homeworks or such. You will be missing a lot of important details.)

  • You did such an AMAZING job,on these 3 films. What a journey...I felt as if I were there! Great, great,GREAT,work,my friend. I believe God gave this vision to Dante, and,I believe that He,gave it to you,to do these outstanding films...Amen.

  • @cuantumk Perhaps it was a real mission, most of the story's plots however are taken from ancient myths and works of various philosophers and scientists. Like for example angels' hierarchy in Heaven was taken from "The Celestial Hierarchy" by Dionysius the Areopagite (how did this guy make it up only God knows).

  • very usefull tnx for uploading this..

  • @j0hnhaney sounds cool.

  • They should make a modern day film reenacting dantes poem. It would make for an eye opening story that compells the mind to think about human destiny. The divine comedy is an excellent piece of literature in my opinion

  • So does Dante really claim that this was a real mission through some sort of inspiration or real vision? I mean I can believe if it were inspirational and perhaps in the form of a vision except for the fact that no human can see God face to face and then come back alive...Maybe he was inspired? Anyway this is just wonderful work and the pictures are awe inspiring, in a good way. Definitely great job, cheers!

  • Dante is more of a Genius!!! wonderful!! I feel like im ascending to clouds when watching this video!!

  • I love all three of your videos! Very well done my friend, bravissimo!

Have you heard of the song called "Dante's Prayer" by Loreena McKennitt? It's a beautiful song and it's inspired by this amazing book.
