Splendide ! Alicia était une immense pianiste

I heard Alicia play 3 or 4 times in London in Albeniz' Iberia, Granados' Goyescas, Falla fantasia Baetica as well as in Mozart. Her playing was always masterly. A wonderful artist. Today is the first I learn of her passing. A great lady.

I am so sad that a great artist is gone, the first time I heard her was in New york playing Rachmaninoff piano conceto No 2 and then in Los Angeles at the Hollywood Ball playing Mozart piano concerto No 20. The world has lost a wanderful woman and artist. Did you know that none of her children wanted to study music?. Rest in peace Alicia Delarrocha.
