even though i play the piano and love it i still think that the violin is the only instrument that can sound the most emotional and passionate. its like its somehow speaking for a sad heart.

... I'm in piano, but not by choice. Sure, its good and all, but its not... it.. i don't know how to put it, but nothing reaches out to me like the violin does. its like, whenever i hear a violin, its pulling notes straight from my heart. i can face the audience with the violin, let them see my emotion, but with the piano, my face is always hidden, and i HAVE no emotion when i play it. Music is supposed to be free, and the violin is the absolute symbol of that freedom. Piano just isn't for me.

Waah ~isn't this song in Miyazaki's movie "Porco Rosso" (Crimson Pig)? I just finished watching it & I remember loving this song b/c they always played it as Marco (Porco Rosso) & Gina's theme!!~ ♥
