this segment is the natural continuation of the film 8 & 1/2
(however, the point of view here is from the actor side ...)

The most bloody ironically vision of "Fame Madness" in this wonderful short film!!!
(Part of three Edgar Allan Poe´s tales adapted by different directors).

I can review this novel endlessly. Fellini-genius. Camera, music, actors and mise en scene everything professionally and flawlessly. Movie of all time.

it looks like.. David Lynch 20 years before David Lynch

Nino Rota, Fellini, also Terence Stamp are forever on this picture, that's resume the way of living in 1970

About twenty years ago or so I was channeling surfing and happened upon this film. I missed the beginning but I knew immediately it was Fellini from the music and the images. It would be be until a couple decades before I would see the film in its entirity along with the other two films. The Fellinin segment stands out as the best. I was happily surprised when I found the soundtrack for Toby Dammit on Itunes. Another great pairing between Fellini and Nino Rota. The dudbbing version is better.
