I like my products to look new too, i hate it when that little dent comes in the middle of the product, i love the smooth glossy look, i will definetley try melting them now!!!

@ahmad80902 - I used to use the water-in-frying-pan method, but since I knocked the handle once and made a bit of an oily mess, I now melt them in a small counter-top oven at the lowest setting. I find that the slower these balms cool, the more uniform the solidified colour is so when they're melted, I very carefully place the lids back on top - doesn't even have to be completely closed - and let them cool with the oven door closed.
