Newfoundland Caribou Hunt.....The Hurricane bull

Ted Stallings takes a very large Woodland caribou at close range In Newfoundland.The Newfoundland Woodland caribou ,a requirement in the North American big game 29, is typically one of the smaller of the species. Teds Booking fell during hurricane Igor and this hunt was filmed On The tail End of one of the more destructive hurricanes to hit the island in years...We knew the weather and our luck had changed when a Moose came to visit us in Camp...Ted was Hunting with Guides Vince Atkins and Myself...

Hope you enjoyed your hunt, according to an inside source who works in the environment and conservation division very strict measures are going to be taken to preserve both the woodland and tundra caribou in this province. Woodland are down 60% while the george river herd is down from 625k animals to 75k, expected to decline to 16k over the next while. Caribou hunting in NL is over.
