@xavean so helpful. Thanks for clearing it up!

@ThuSheriff You caught me! You're exactly right. You should do the bass, pull, hammer, and repeat (no second "pull"). I don't think I mentioned it in the video either (I'll add these notes to it), but when you start on C. Then as you walk down, hit Am, and goto E, you do two bass hits in between each. Anyway, I hope that helps. Good luck! (Not sure why your comment got flagged for spam, so I unflagged it)

hey, sorry for commenting again. I noticed in the other video that he did a walkdown on the part : "Voices whine, skyscrapers are scraping together, your voice is smoking". Do you think you could give the chords and explain (im pretty much a novice at guitar) and you didn't get that far in your video. Thank you for being so helpful.

@ThuSheriff Not a problem. I'm at work right now, and can't view my own video...but I'll try to piece it together from memory and followup when I get home if I end up wrong. But for that part, you alternate between F (with the 6th string bass note) and C, doing the same picking pattern as is at the beginning of the song. And then on "Last cigarettes..." you do the standard walkdown part, like you did with the "Strum down your cheeks..." part.

hey man, the hammer on explaniation isnt working for me. So when hammer on the 2nd and 3rd strings are you doing this while changing to the a minor from the c?

@mullberrryy1 Well, first off, the "hammer on" part is really poor terminology on my part. You're doing no such action with your fretting hand (which is what the term normally refers to). I used the term to refer to a hammering motion with your strumming hand, in case you're confused about that.
But during the chorus, you only switch shapes while you're hitting bass notes.

@xavean Ran out of room for the last comment. It goes like this:
[Form C chord - x32010] , Bass on 5th string, Pull, Hammer, Bass on 5th string [walk down chord - x20010], Bass on 5th string, Pull, Hammer, Bass on 5th, [Form Am chord], Bass on 5th string, Pull, Hammer, Bass on 5th string, [Form E chord], Bass on the 6th string, Pull, Hammer, ADDITIONAL PULL, [Form F with pinky and go from there]...I hope that helps more than hurts. Let me know!

i have a question, when you get to the chorus you say that you go 2 bases then the second and 3rd string, hammer on and than 2nd and 3rd string again. If i want to add the extra base note it doesn't sound right to add the 2nd and 3rd stings again after the hammer on. Did you make a mistake or am i playing it with a funny rythm?

@ThuSheriff Ack! Reading comprehension would help on my part. I meant to say "When you start on C, only hit the bass string once. Then, as you continue from C to the walk down, walk down to Am, and Am to E, hit the bass string twice in between each of these". And yes, the "pull, hammer" following the bass stuff doesn't change.
