This is a demo of the Roland Alpha juno 2. I recorded that song with cubase. No Effects, everything you hear is the Alpha juno 2 and every sound is a preset patch. In some patches I changed the ENV - setups.

Thanks for listening and voting.

  • Is it true that this synth isn't multitimbral? So I assume you multitracked the individual audio tracks in your DAW to get all those parts?

    Great stuff by the way!

  • @Jerraph: Right, no multitrimbality. I recorded and mixed it in Cubase. But I didn't use any FX. All you hear is the pura alpha juno 2.

  • Is that the "drum" preset that the alpha comes with?

  • @RLbitClassica:

yeah its the drumpreset in in the presetbank. I think its Patch 18.

  • 0:42 BEST BIT!!

  • Classic Alpha Juno sounds :-)

    Nice work

  • lovely song, guess that 80's child won't ever grow up.

  • very 80's sounding. Nice

  • Drum sounds and pattern at the beginning very similar to Thomas Dolby's "One of our submarines"! Nice track though, the Alpha Juno sounds great :-)

  • @JX890 Cool. At the weekend I multitracked mine in Cubase SX3 (bought one recently). Added a bit of reverb though... :)

Still quite new to me - but a great synth so far.

  • Catchy!
