After digging for maybe 20 minutes, we cleaned up the banjo to get all the concentrates into a pan, to pan off and see if we are onto any Gold. Filmed in southern NSW, Australia.

  • I got small gold flakes in my poo

  • @NowLifeStarts I'm surprised you're still alive. Fine gold is actually a toxin to more than one of your body's major organs.

  • any crocks in the area you are in?

  • @bobinmissouri Hi Bob - no, none at all. They are all up North, Cairns, Far North Queensland, and Northern Territories / Darwin way. We just have spiders that will kill you, snakes that will kill you, and kangaroos that can kill you (if you run into one in your car without a bull bar).

  • I bet you had more than that...but the way you pan is very nonproductive with fines

  • Yes - the highbanker catches the fine stuff OK, but a Garret Supersluice definitely isn't the pan for that. It catches the big ones! The only way to receover the powder stuff would be to grade the heavies through a sieve then blue bowl it or something. But I don't have a blue bowl ;-)

  • Great stuff Combat. Nice clean-up and nice gold ! Nice compact banjo you have there.

I remember asking you what pump you used a year ago, on your other highbanker video, and have since built my own home-designed 2-tier sluice. I ended up going with a cheaper brand pump to yours, but it certainly does the job. You can check it out at GoldReaper100 - cheers.

  • Lol that would have been funny. Cheers Carlo.

Thanks for the vid Combat and co. It's good to see some colour.

    Dicko..

  • Haha, I'm in the background trying to cross the log at 3:30, lucky I didn't fall in.

I went there just a few days ago and found that entire spot under water, It took a while to make a new wingdam.

    Cheers
