Here's a quick video of Kody explaining why I'm putting him in Western Country Pleasure Driving at the AMHR shows in 2008.

  • Thank you. Kody IS a kick butt CDE/driven dressage horse! We've been competing at Happ's in the NW since 2005. (I'm way behind on uploading videos, sadly.) He retired after the 2008 season with an unfortunate back injury but was working towards Intermediate level at the time. I'm hoping he'll make a minor comeback in the next several years as my tandem leader.

  • The shame of it is, you know what you're talking about and most "drivers" don't have a clue. Work on frame, bend and relaxation with out the artificial frame makers (check reins) You would rock in driven dressage/CDE! Contact, contact, contact!

  • Good for you to teach him the right way over a year, and not to rush him! It takes a lot of muscle to hold the head in a frame

  • Very nice video, Leia...I think Kody is going to be a kick-butt Western CP horse. :D
