  • Thanx so much , my kids ds needed a new top screen and motherboard. with such a great video a novice like me managed to take two damaged ds's apart and make one working one.RESULT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!­!!!!!!!!!!

    True. However I have yet to superglue anything that doesn't eventually break 1 or 2 mm from the original break.

  • @JoelOnYouVideos I think perhaps you've unseated the ribbon cable for the touch capacitive screen above the lower LCD screen. There are two ribbon cables for the touch screen, the smallest one is for the touch part, try reseating it. :)

  • @archphoenix17 I don't use a butter knife. I've been the little mechanic since I was about 4. I "helped" my dad take a PC apart in 2000.

  • @tesslamont101 Maybe you can help me out. I tried replacing the case and all went well. Exeecpt when i turn on the DS both screens light up and work, but the touchscreen won't respond when I touch it. Any help?
