  • I think I'd rather vote for a paedophile than a creationist. At least they only fuck one kid at a time.

  • Gravity is just a theory, yet we know it exists. Evolution is a theory, yet we know it exists. Scientific theory tries to explain why things happen, not "do they happen."

  • @jacksawild LOL

  • @ingsocof1984 Many passages in the Bible are metaphors. The 6 day creation story is only believed literally by fundamentalists, the sense of time for God is not similar to ours. The world could have been created in 6 days or in 6 x10^12 days it might make a difference to us, but it doesn't to Him. How would you explain creation and evolution to a 2 yr old? Mankind was not prepared for scientific explanations in those days. Nevertheless the story still makes sense when correctly interpreted.

  • @ingsocof1984 The Bible isn't the dictated word of God, is the inspired word from God, written by men over many centuries. God inspiration pass through man's biases that filters it, and it has to be interpreted based on for whom, where, why and how that inspiration was given. Is a collection of many books, not just one book. Each book in a collection is interpreted individually. There's archeological factual evidence for many of the old testament stories watch this video: watch?v=NWawVUZg3Es.

  • @dejesusluisx I can't tell if you're trolling or actually believe the things you say. Either way, though, this conversation is over, as your position is unmoved by data and evidence.

For anyone else reading this: Google "contradictions in the bible" and click on Images. Every one of those red lines is a direct contradiction you can see by opening up your own copy of the bible, or looking at it online.

Just try it, and see. It takes 20 seconds.

  • @ingsocof1984 None of those links have evidence, just opinions, that proves atheism is based of faith arguments, hence a new religion, open your eyes.

  • @dejesusluisx YouTube wont let me put a link in, so you're guna have to do a little work, here: 1. Google "contradictions in the bible". 2. Click on anything. 3. Be proved wrong.

  • @TomFynn "In fact the bible is full of errors, contradictions, mistranslations and added parts from the dark ages" prove your claim. All claims require evidence, mine and yours. The difference is that claims without evidence are faith claims, and I don't mind at all saying I base my claims on faith and therefore they are religious claims. Now if you don't mind being part of a cult and having atheism label as a religion, keep posting and don't get any evidence.

  • @dejesusluisx

But they are not God's teachings but instead the teachings of herdsman from ancient Palestine. In fact the bible is full of errors, contradictions, mistranslations and added parts from the dark ages. I challenge you to lookup a lecture from Bart Erhman who is a biblical scholar.
