I usually like James Brown's version of a song better than versions by people he produced, but in this case I like both Bobby Byrd's and the Variations' versions better. .
@unique74muzik yeah, now that you mention it, "There It Is" does use the Wah Wah. I guess once Isaac Hayes used it to success, everybody had to try it. Love that tight crisp drumming in There It Is too
@elquebi nine times outta ten this was around the time they did the "There It Is" sessions...There It Is & Make It Good To Yourself are the only two JB records that contain Wah Wah effect. Unique74
