i was 10 when this song came out. my parents just divorced and i was relocated to a new neighborhood. no friends. my mom had to work 2 jobs. i felt so unhappy, but everytime i heard this on the radio it lifted my spirits.

This song is older than me and I absolutely love it! what happened to songs with soul and meaning? Don't think there was many songs in my growing up years with even a fraction of the heart this song has... Wish I was an 80s/90s teen
