Remember my trip to Georgia? My appearance on my favorite channel, Turner Classic Movies? Well, I finally discovered a way to put up the intro and outro of my appearance as a Guest Programmer. ENJOY!
Note: I was INCREDIBLY nervous and you can totally see it in this video. :/ I'm disappointed that I was unable to be myself and talk enthusiastically about my passion. Sorry, folks! At least I was on TV! :)
If you were unaware or forgot:
I submitted a video to the Turner Classic Movies Guest Programmer Contest, even though I did not reach the age requirements. I received an email month(s) ago and they were saying that they would like it if I could appear for their 15th anniversary. I was surprised. So we were given the details and we flew to Georgia. The film I chose was "Swing Time" (1936).
Way to go Juan! I'm jealous you got to meet Robert Osborne. Please spread your love for the classic movies to others your age!

Hey Juan, it's so encouraging to know that people your age have such an appreciation for classic films. I agree with what you said, there really is no way to compare these films to the movies of today. And you got to talk with Robert Osborne...what an honor! Nice job :)

I am jealous as well. I am 13, but I am a true movie buff, and TCM is my favorite channel. I love classic movies, and just movies in general. I would love to be on there and to be able to pick a movie.
