Midland, Texas, isn't known for its snow. Or its rain, either. About the only thing that falls from the sky around here is dust, so when we get snow--enough to actually, you know, *see*, it's kind of a big deal. I'm not a fan of snow, but sometimes you just have to buck up and brave the elements to keep from succumbing to Cabin Fever. We bundled up, grabbed the cameras, and took a walk on Christmas Eve. It was cold, but we had a great time. Join us~~

  • Hi, I'm from Quebec and I'm just curious....when you say cold, how cold is it really? In other words....how cold is cold to Texans? ;) Though we've been having an unusually beautiful and rather mild winter so far, January often brings us some -30 to -40 degrees Celcius temps. In any case, I'm glad to see you went out to enjoy it :) Happy Holidays!

  • @MademoiselleAsphodel Cold here is anything below 55 F, which is the usual temperature for this time of year, I think. On the other hand, cold to me is anything below 80 F.
