Shattered Horizon Multiplayer Gameplay

Amazing zero-gravity multiplayer FPS. Here's gameplay I recorded to show off the stunning visuals and unique gameplay of Shattered Horizon. If you're wondering how there is sound in space, this is the future and your suit has an audio simulation feature to keep you aware of what is going on, but if your electronics gets shut down or you go into stealth mode it's dead quiet aside from your breathing and heartbeat. This was playing on the lowest settings possible, and is a DirectX 10 only game, so it will not work on Windows XP. I have seen the max settings played on my brother's computer and it looks incredible!

@cp225 Type aitch tee tee pee and :// right before the futuremark.yougamers part, of course, and replace the zero in com with an o. Looks like post #32 on that page (second from top) has part of the necessary files and if you scroll down to post 38 on the same page you'll find a link for the files needed to host a server. On page 2 of that thread (post #14) was what might have been a more complete package of files but that link is dead. The files I linked above should hopefully have everything.

@TheArMaGeDdOnXxX This weapon is from before the Firepower patch that added the current weapons. To use this one you'd need to downgrade the game by grabbing the old game files from other players. I don't know if there's a fan site that hosts them but on the game's official forums I saw some people who offered to upload their files for anyone interested in playing the old version.

there would be a way of combating that, a connection from the trigger to the propulsion jet things, where whenever you fire, there would be an equal amount of forward thrust to compensate...

@mickeyshasher You are correct, their is no sounds in space. I've played this game enough to know that when you get hit by a EMP or turn off your suit controls that in the boot logs that it uses a sound emitter to tell you that it fired. so in a way they simulate the gun shots for you to hear it. As you would hear nothing in space.
