Frank Sinatra
Greatest Hits! 1968
Reprise® Recordings
(Russell Faith, C. Keltner)
[Recorded November 10, 1964, Los Angeles]

Somewhere in your heart, try to find a place for me
Somewhere in your heart, I won't care where it might be
One little corner may not mean so much to you
But one little corner would be enough to see me through

Somewhere in your dreams, let my lips come close to you
Though they're only dreams, someday they may all come true
Is it so much to ask for such a tiny part?
Won't you find a place for me, somewhere in your heart?

(Somewhere in your dreams), let my lips come close to you
(Though they're only dreams), someday they may all come true
Is it so much to ask for such a tiny part?
Won't you find a place for me, somewhere in your heart?

  • I often wonder where he was getting his songs and the lyrics?I never realized how many great songs this man did.I am just hooked at the moment on him.Even though some are years ago.Too me he had a great memory and just one the best singer's in the world.Hardly replaceable. Also he had to be brave in this new world we live in.

  • nice song

  • Some people are born to just sing and please the rest of us - This was truly a master of this talent- Thanks a whole big bunch for posting !!!!!!

  • ELE É MESMO DEMAIS, ETERNO. PARABÉNS♥

  • Very Beautiful and Unbelievable Song!

  • This recording session marked Frank's adoption of the pop single sound which had proved so successful for Dean Martin. In fact by the time Frank recorded this song Dino had already scored with 2 monster hits during the Summer and Fall of 1964. Frank was frustrated and wanted to achieve Top 40 success on his Reprise label and adopted Dino's hit formula. However this song made it to # 32 on the Billboard charts in 1965. Frank would have to wait a year to hit the top spot.

  • The piano in the background carries the song along with the violins. Fantastic tempo to sway to on a dancing floor. Did I forget to mention the base guitar...awesome. Only Sinatra can execute this number the right way...his way.

  • @carolinepickens

I have lived through those years, and yes they were the best. The world should have stopped then forever.

  • A lovely classic! Thanks meehall for this share!
