im thinking of getting this done but i might have to wait a year cause im 17. all the yellow stuff is fat i saw the same stuff in the frog we disected in biology. i wonder how much ill have it must be kinda hard to get through when you get the operation done.

How long did it take you from when you saw a doctor for the first time to when you actually had the surgery. I have had people tell me they had their surgery in one month or one year!

2. do you feel the band once its in

@sunfyre8 hi, i am considering this for myself as well, if you dont mind i have just a few questions: did they 'put you to sleep' for this operation? 2.) how many pounds did you lose within the first week of having this lap band? that is all the questions i can think of as of now. but if i have anymore would it be ok to ask you? thx for the post and glad your are doing well with this lapband :)

Yeh....it's pretty neat. I watched some of the operation vids on You Tube before I had mine...and it so much better to see your own insides!
