The song society is based on an amazing story by Jon Krakauer about the adventures of Christopher McCandless. It was recently made into a film. I haven't seen the movie yet. If you have, let me know what you thought about it.

Joe, you're going to have to go sit in the corner. What will Eddie think when I tell him? Ha! It's part of the Soundtrack for "Into the Wild." It's got some great stuff on it; twelve or thirteen tracks of Eddie Vedder doing his thing. I'd definitely recommend it. I won't tell Eddie if you don't.
