accent

so basically i just want to know if i have a really thick accent. i tend to kinda beat around the bush a bit.

you sound almost west coast, definitely not my idea of southern accent. maybe slightly midwestern, like oklahoma or nebraska :)

really?? that's crazy. compared to some of my friends, I don't have that thick of an accent (unless i really get into what i'm talking about), but i definitely think i sound from the south.

Your southern accent is weak, almost indiscernible, which is consistent with the fate of the southern accent in general. When the post-WII babies are gone, the southern accent is likely gone forever as well. This demise would seem to be a good revelation as few like the brogue. Finally.
