I'd sure like to know what are the arguments of the thumbs down voters..! If somebody can actually explain why we shouldn't support who fight for their rights!! If you have no explanations you can put on the table, why do you do that?, and if you have at least one good reason,then bring it!! @KhameneiVoter Freedom of assembly is western? Freedom of speech:western? Iran's regime censors the media. Do u support that because freedom of media is "western?" It's easy to call anything that u don't agree with western/zionist (not that I support zionism) but this way of leadershipsnt "just." Is it Islamic? It's up to interpretation. A lot of legitimate muslims don't even consider Islam practiced in Iran "true" it's more of Idol worshiping. Khamenei allows people to worship him. Should he?

ahmadinejad is fighting corruption and there is some great people in the goverment which try to cut the fingers of some corrupt gangsters. iran is devolping, t takes time. what is freedom? "western freedom"? i am a supporter of an free society based by the islamic rules with kindness and rationality. But what some groups calling is nothing more than a copy of western culture. i support the islamic revolution, nothing is better than this!

@KhameneiVoter I don't defend the US Gov. But that has nothing to do with the green movement. People want more freedom, better financial stability and jobs. For a country that is so rich, why is it too hard to provide? it's not. But there's too much corruption. If u want to find a job with the govt, u have know somebody in the revolutionary guards or basij. Why? Is that fair? You might call this expectation of people "fake" or "criminal" But that's cause u are benefiting from the regime. THINK!

@KhameneiVoter [Part 1] You call the green movement "fake" That's exactly what the Shah's regime called Khomeini's movement, "fake" & "criminal". Totalitarian regimes and dictators who don't care to respond to their people's legitimate concerns call them "fake" That's what "Saddam" and "Mobarak" did.. Some people in Iran are asking "why" there's no freedom of speech. The regime & their puppets are too fat or too rich to care anymore. You have a job, right? You don't care. You call them "fake."
