Cardi and Jessica Wisdom competing in the Prix St George at Dressage at Devonwood. 2nd of 12 on Saturday with a 66.7. 1st of 14 on Sunday with a 66.6%. Has been Champion or Reserve at all 4 shows this season.
People making negative comments about her leg have obviously never ridden a horse with a big, round, stride. The second you tense your leg, you bounce and disrupt swing in the horse's back. Beautiful ride, beautiful horse!
I just love this pair! And to those with the neg. comments..If they are winning all the damn time then she MUST know what shes doing and be doing SOMETHING right!
Beautiful rider and beautiful horse. Unbelievable some of the rude comments. I don't care, if you can train a cob to close to a 70 in the PSG there is nothing wrong with your riding!
"Cardi is great - she trained him - but her riding is a mess" - If you love how the horse goes through his test, that means the trainer gets the props. And if the trainer is also the rider, you probably shouldn't be saying that the rider looks handicapped, because it reveals how amateur you are. Dressage is not about appearing still and perfect on a horse. Fluidity and subtlety are much appreciated, but relaxation and timing are key, and she has those in spades.
So Hitchahoo, where are your videos showing your great riding and training ability??? Really looking forward to seeing those sometime..... I guess the reason Jessica does so well in competition and has trained Cardi so beautifully is because she is a really bad rider..... yah, ok... It doesn't really work that way. So, about your videos?
@HITCHAHOO I totally agree with you! Im not saying I could do any better at all ive only shown to first level and have a long way to go. But I thought in dressage the rider is suppose to be as subtle in movements as possible. Shes so wabbly and bouncy like you said and her foot is all over. Shes almost too relaxed in her riding. Love this horse tho hes amazing!
