  • dude i just order mine today fom DELL. so ur telling me its not gonna be JASPER? :(

  • depends if they had a stock of them, or if you bought a package deal, most package deals are scams to get rid of older models.

  • your lucky if you have xbox jasper. non over heating motherboard and chipset

  • @JojoSimz pantie

  • @tecato666 your life 100% failure rate

  • 45 nm combi gpu and cpu thermal power will be roughly 35 to 40 watts. overhaeting would be less than 0.01%

  • jaspers are now 2% faliure rate . and most of them are disc drive errors valhalla will cure rrod and overheating problems, if MS go with the 45 nm combined gpu/cpu . that would mean over power usage of about 85 watts compared with the 180+ watts need for the 2006 models. in therory the power brick will be much smaller and be 110 to 125 watts .

  • ok so i goot a new xbox 360 about a year ago i did an unboxing video right and everyone says its not a jasper but i took mine apert and the ram chipe at the bottom where not there like in the pic in your vid so is it a jasper..??

  • LOL

Anyone remember the "Good Ol days" when a console would come out and through it's entire "lifecycle" it would only have 2 versions of it, or heck, sometimes just 1!"

A lot of those ones are STILL working properly too......

Sometimes I miss my old Genesis/NES!

  • hell yes i have a jasper,

  • Microsoft has never officially released a failure rate for any of the models. Concluding that all "failure rates" are speculation. However based on lump sums of speculation rates from many sources, (discounting the outrageous, non conclusive percentages) indicates average percentages of:

    Xenon: 23% to 42.3%

    Falcon: 10% to 24.5%

    Jasper: 2% to 8.95%

  • Are you really going to believe some article of a magazine? Do you realize how insane 50% is? The launch models' 33% failure rate was already hard enough to believe.

These are the ACTAUL failure rates by a credible source (Square trade)

    Launch models- 33%

    Falcon- 16.4%

    Jasper- 4%

Almost none of the 4% of the jaspers that did die were from RROD, mostly disc read and E74 errors.
