@dan1880712125847 Thanks for the referral; I saw Jefferson do it; I didn't know who he was at the time.

You should hear the version of this on the cd titled "Visions Upward Bound" I google'd it and WOW!!! So nice!!! the way the beat and the lyrics flow is amazing!!! I think he would be proud to hear how it still inspires the youth of today.

I am a airline that was working for TWA in St. Louis...and in a two year spand I ran into James Moody about five or six times...it was so strange....sometimes he'd be alone and other times he'd be with his wife. We became friends and we talked about how we kept crossing path...it blew his mind as did mine..very nice man...

This totally sounds like it should've been in Fallout 3.

@dan1880712125847 I believe that was actually King Pleasure doing the vocal!
-
@Akomaj1 He also appeared at Memory Lane Supper Club in L.A with Dizzy.
Eddie Jefferson wrote the lyrics and performed with Moody. Not sure if King Pleasure ever worked with Moody or did the tune on his own.

@dan1880712125847 where the streets are paved with gold. I heard him do it at Birdland about 5 or 7 years ago. You'll find, it soon. Keep looking and let me know. We are lucky to live when we live.
