Breastfeeding Facts Worldwide Age is 4 Years

This video is not a comedy. I want to address breastfeeding facts, since, I am still receiving different information on this subject. I think breastfeeding is fine and actually quite beneficial to the infant and the young child. Breast milk contains maternal antibodies which help with the child's gastrointestinal tract as it is maturing as well as the respiratory system. I will also explain why I feel a child should not be breastfed at 8 years old by referencing Erik Erikson's Development Stages.

No, I wasn't being childish. I was stating a fact that obesity can cause cancer. Many of our children in the USA are overweight. Of course, cigs are horrible! I don't buy into the second hand smoke too much. However, I don't think one should smoke in front of a baby. So, I do agree with you. I never called anyone fat. I was slandered and bf an 8 y.o. child is wrong. Sorry, you didn't sub. I would have subbed back and I'm a Partner who could have featured your vids. Your loss.

Well, I AM the mother who walks down the street smoking a cigarette. If that's ALL I do then what is your problem? No, not all women need to be or can be perfect mother's. We don't need anyone to be a perfect Mom. What we need is for women to be educated. Average age for breastfeeding world wide is 5 years old.

I only care about the child. I don't think a child should name the breasts and draw them like these girls did in the vid of the British mom bf her 9 y.o. daughter. That's child abuse.

Instead of being dependant I: went to sleepovers (where I did not nurse), I went to school without my mother, enjoyed adult food as my only food (nursing was for comfort before bed/after nightmares of injury), recover faster after the surgery I needed on my eyes then was expected.

My father was bf until he was 4 y.o. I'll never forget my Grandmother telling me that she stopped when he bit her nipple. She had to go to the doctor. That's how bad it was. It's very hard to bf. I bf my son for about 4 wks. My mom was very sick at that point and she died when he was 6 wks. I couldn't drink one cup of coffee with my son because he would get so agitated from the caffeine. I still had a piece of chocolate cake for my B-day. I agree that there aren't any public places. It's hard.
