Mambo Madness takes place in a Totalitarian State called Silencio City. It unfolds in an Asylum designed to resemble a night club that has been created to detain citizens that have been infected with a virus called "clave": the erotic and propulsive rhythm that keeps time on the dance floor of the imagination.Conceived and Edited by Adál Maldonado, Music: Bésame Mucho written by Consuelo Vásquez, performed by Gonzalo Grau, A Production of Strange Cargo Films, 2007 Broadcast on WNET Channel 13 as part of the Reel New York Film Festival, 2008. "Mambo Madness is prophetic and profound. It points to the reality that it is far greater than Reefer Madness, Communism, Conservatism, and Rock 'n Roll. There is no cure! There is no control!
