how do i get my betta fish to make a bubble nest?

@anniesmy747 Put him something he can build nest on, like styrofoam (in the video) or you can use also indian almond leaves or plastic cup cut in the middle, stuffs like this.

he looks exactly like mine and the spots are even in the same place im breeding him with a blue veiltailed female

i have 2 males and 2 females and the two males are building there bubble nest.i wanted to know how long will it take for him to finish makeing his their buble nest

and one more thing why do they chase the female around the tank and attack her

@berto783 Bettas are building there nests from 1 hour to 1 day it depends of the fish.And he is chasing her because he is not ready with his nest.When he is ready he will let her go under the nest and do what they do XD After they finish matting remove the female because he will start to chase her again and he can kill her,because he is protecting his fry.

Wait for your male to make a nest of bubbles because that means he is comfortable with hi territory, he is healthy, hopeful and that he is ready to spawn with the female

i have one male betta,but he dun make a nest and keep attacking the female,is it mean he dun like her? btw, they are different colour..i mean my male is red and the female is platinum,could it be a reason why...im so sad...cuz i dun knw to do and what the fishes doing..
