Moonlight Sonata is a beautiful piece of work, and this isn't near as good as the original (no offense, but no one can top this original with a remake) but this is still a very good song.
Music is about exploring and expanding. This was an exploration into what you could do with a classic using modern tools and sounds. Don't hate peoples music, criticize and help improve it.
Totally agree. Although I don't like all versions of classical songs, I'm always open to hearing another interpretation of a song. It's personal taste of you like it , but the "never touch" blabla thing is a very conservate way of thinking. Be open minded. Anything can be improved. I don't say it has done yet, but theoreticly hardly anything is perfect and alot is matter of opinion too. Most people do tend to prefer originals because they're used to them. Just like with anything they're used to
Oh give me a break. You are probably the same people that say this generation has no respect (or you will say it when you get old). I think Beethoven is rocking out to this version. Lighten up fuddy duddy old farts!
I can appreciate the attempt of modernising a fantastic piece of music but NO, sorry just no. The original peace of music should never be tampered with.
