  • I am an experienced crocheter, and I usually have no problem following written instructions for stitches, but this edging stitch was really eluding me! Luckily, it only took about 30 seconds of your video to get the hang of this surprisingly simple stitch... thanks!

  • @diamondworkhorse You are welcome.

  • my 18 yr ol sister loves to crochet am 14 my self and some of the things are really pretty and its sad how maany people say that its a grandma thing

  • @funfunfun114 It is sad. I was 19 when I learned.

  • LOL, wanna hear something funny?? I was looking at different videos this evening for different border styles.. I wasnt paying attention to the user ID of the person that posted them and when this vid came up and I heard your voice, I'm like:

    ''Thats Theresa!! Cool!''

**Because I had seen SO MANY of your videos! You taught me how to crochet :)

Thanks so much for all your help!! :)

  • @improudmama2 I agree, I heard her voice and thought, this sounds like the lady that I learned how to make flowers from, even though the name is different, I knew if I let this video play out I'd get the hang of this stitch (after trying a couple other videos where people get going too fast, or stop talking while they work leaving you hanging). Thanks for posting!

  • Thanks so much I tried it on my own tonight but I could not figure it out .

Now I know how to do it thanks to you.

    Happy hooking.

  • @funfunfun114 Good for you and your sis. I am happy to hear that younger people are keeping needlework alive. Hope you pass your craft on to the next generation too! As for myself, I did not learn until I was 48... (old enough to be a grandma though I'm not) and am sad that I did not learn b4 my mother died because it could have been something fun for us to do together.

  • I LOVE LOVE LOVE your tuturials! They are fabulous! I don't know exactly what it is about yours that are so much better than the others but they ARE! You make it easier! What I was wondering though is w/ this round coaster pattern, if you wanted a bigger size, do you continue around after the SC with double crochet or more singles? Or alternate? I'm going to make a floor mat with your circle variation. Thx!

  • Thank you for this, I'd never heard of reverse stitches before and now I know how. :)
