Remove the insoles and get a boot drier. Peet driers are the best but hard to find, otherwise a cold air blower one from eBay for less than £20 works well.

What a fantastic path! I think I'd be in waders. Aren't they LaCrosse Alpha Burleys and adidas trackies though? I wouldn't want to flood those boots in mud as the insides are hard to clean. Great to see new posts though.
