Typical Austrian Breakfast and Food, Glorious Food

I could survive just on breakfast and pastries in Austria. "Kase" (cheese) strudel (or sweet rolls) was once my favorite but then we discovered "Schnecken." Schnecken are snail-like pastries filled with cinammon or nuts or chocolate and iced. Every Backerei (bakery) had its own version and there is no such think as a bad Schnecken...

Sausages, pork done in every unimaginable fashion. But bring on those scrumptious desserts and I'm in hog heaven.
