This car is beautiful. I love the way these grand prix cars were designed; they were, in essence, Saturn V rockets strapped to pods. <3

The Maser 250F and PF were the last of the successful front engined F-1 cars. When Cooper and Lotus began racing rear engined cars, the Maser was like a P-51 Mustang in the early era of jets ~ it could still prevail, but needed the most-skilled pilot and a kiss on the lips from Lady Luck. You had to love the brave Knights who still raced them against newer cars. I hated the song VOLARE when I was a kid, but it certainly helps to place this setting (Goodwood/Maserati) squarely in the late 1950s.

He is so adaptable...he is able to driver every generation of cars so easily...the background song was a classic. :) . Any one knows what song it is ?
