  • It's not just you. That is a pattern for me too, and I know better but I keep doing it. Many acne products contain tea tree oil. I tried The Body Shop tea tree acne pads but I couldn't stand the strong odor so I stopped after using it once. I don't know if the pure oil has a strong smell but I would think that wouldn't be a huge issue if you're just spot treating so I may give it a try. Great video.

I wish it smelled better. I made the mistake of spot treating not too far from my nose, and the smell made my stomach hurt! However, just don't get too close to your eyes, nose, or mouth, and it's fine.

  • @EyeWearMakeup I forgot to mention before but whenever I'm breaking out I use the DDF acne pumice scrub as my cleanser for however long I need to, whether it be a few days or a couple of weeks. And you get a lot of product. It's been my staple for years and I always have it on hand because it really works for me. I got some dryness at first, which went away but it's probably because I have dry skin. That may not happen with oily skin. I thought I'd tell you in case you hadn't tried it before.

  • @channienyc

Do you have sensitive skin? I've never used any kind of scrub on my face because I'm always scared it might be too harsh. I'm not worried about dryness. It takes A LOT to make my skin dry.

  • I'll have to look up the benefits of tea tree oil and give it a try. Thanks for the vid.

If you use it for something different and get good results, I would love to hear about it.

Me too! That's why I was very interested in trying it. I should probably use it for some other stuff too...

  • Can you do a video on how you use the tea tree oil? x
