@StradMan37 David, I was fortunate to hear Guy Touvron + quintett about 20-25 years ago and was absolutely blown out of my seat! I could hear him warm up in another room, playing casually up to Dubba C, then coming onto the stage and putting up with an hour + of very taxing quintett music, all with no visible effort and that characteristic beautiful, crystal clear sound, whatever the register! A great model to strive to emulate...

I met Guy Touvron in Paris when I wanted to purchase a new Selmer picc. He was incredibly nice and hand picked my picc, which was a very good choice...
