Couple things:

The reason its cheaper is mainly because of how much AT&T was able to subsidize the price. Thats the reason they got an extension with apple to carry to iPhone through 2010. The reason theres no aluminum now is for better signal strength along with the fact that the aluminum can dent when it falls easily. I swear on my life my little sister dropped my iphone when i was playing a basketball game on our driveway. I've compared 2 3G;s to the original, staggeringly better speeds

because it is built so much better and i think anyone would admit that. not only is it made out of tough aluminum it seems like a heavier phone. the 3g also has more black on each side of the screen which made it look to wide and long also the plastic is soooo easy to crack. if you were to drop it it would be screwed but not with aluminum. Thats why it is sooo much cheaper because its not well made and 3g isnt that much faster me and my friend compared and its only a little faster.

Wow , the same fucking phone ..my old sony ericsson has 3g and this piece of crap finally comes with it. NOKIA N95 beats this phone in a heart beat. if you don't believe , check how many broken iphones they sell on ebay and I see stupid people bidding on that broken crap. hahahaha

this add is a lie, apple announced today that they could not remote activate phones, you have to do it thru the computer
