This really sounds like a cliched marketing video. None of your usual personality and infectious enthusiasm. There is nothing on the new site to help people find rentals. Seems to me the best way to encourage people to buy land is to help them to rent first..

There is a virtual world for sex if that's all you want, it's called RedLight Centre.

You should give it another try because it really is quite good. It can be an outlet for you artistic side, which Torley has tutorials to help you, it can bridge communities/countries and give you insight to other cultures, there's endless things to explore, experience.

At times when I first started, I thought the same as you but I've been playing for a couple of years now. =)

When I first encountered the new site, I was like "whoa!....I don't like this one bit!", safe to say though I'm slowly adjusting to it...never been that good with change. ^.^

Although I'm debating on whether or not the length of residency will last considering the restriction of replica avatars on Sept 14th and how a lot of people will most likely not get rights to produce them from real world owners.

I ask how it'll affect those like Body Doubles, SL Heroes, Heroes Unlimited and others. O.o
