5. Armenia's incompetent police and its flawed intersection light

The police pull this taxi driver over and fine him for making a right turn during a green light. The police claim that the taxi driver could not have made a right turn because in that intersection, right turns can only be made during the special right turn only green light. However, the right turn only light never turns red so the only light drivers can rely on is the green intersection light which based on Armenia's and international law gives them permission to make a right turn. This footage is a good example of the stupidity level of Armenia's traffic engineers and its police force. It's hard to say if there is even one qualified traffic engineer in Armenia.

And second, learn Traffic Rules of the Republic of Armenia before arguing, it clearly states that you cannot turn to right if the right section of semaphore is off. If you don't like the rule change the rule first, then direct others to follow it.

@1ev0n actually a green light allows you to maniover wherever you want, if there is a street that goes right and you have no street sign that dont allow you to turn in there, then you can turn right while the light is green, the additional light is when the lamp is red, then cars who go stright may stop and those who have to turn right are allowed to do so, its clearly that either this police officers were too dumb, or just corrupt. The taxi driver did nothin wrong.

@alextee07 maan this is not supposed to be rocket science, the rule in the world is when it's green go, when red stop.  in this case it was green and ok to go. I have no fucking idea what arrows have anything to do with this, arrows or no fucking arrows, green and red mean the same thing in all of the world, if it's different in Armenia, then it once again proves how fucked up this country is.
