@Whitsdude nahh i still don't buy it, you seem to forget these are nazi's, like imagine if you were a nazi NCO trying to explain to your commander that you ordered the entire platoon to retreat because of one man, he would of pulled out his german luger and popped you a new asshole in the forehead in front of all your men to see, in all seriousness this scene was pure hollywood

One man tops the hill and just goes ape shit shooting at them with no cover. Every shot seems to hit someone. They prolly thought Chuck Norris' dad was there or something. And then all of a sudden, there's more of them. It waas Chuck's whole goddamned family! Damn right they ran. Lol. In all seriousness, they didn't see that coming. They just paniced and probably thought it was a much larger American force and were told to retreat.
