Book Bashing Video #1

At Renaissance Art, our books (and bags) endure beyond normal use or abuse. To prove this, we took a book with no closure (cuz that style has less protected pages), our Skinny Large, and threw it against our outside studio stucco wall, kicked it across the ground, and tried to get the dog to fetch it... to illustrate the unbreakability of our books. If we had a baseball bat we would have used that too. The fact is... the more our books get abused... the more time they are used... the softer the leather gets, the richer the patina on the leather... the better they look and feel.

BTW... this books looks totally awesome. I keep it in my house and the people who see it all would like to have one in it's distressed state. We are thinking of abusing it further and then maybe giving it away... maybe :)

We have several book covers and bags. They're indestructible and we absolutely love them! I had a custom bag made that I carry as a purse and I get so many favorable comments.

I just ordered the "Giant Small Journal" after looking for several days at other leather journal websites. The Renaissance Art site really wowed me with its quality and many custom choices (like having lines put on the paper). You folks are awesome. more videos like this will help sales I'm sure of it :)

I've only bought a couple of these, but the main selling point isn't durability... I mean they're durable, yes, but it's that old-world, thick pages, texture stuff that makes them great, but this is the first video? EVERYONE, THESE THINGS ARE GREAT and durable, I guess.

Of course, these books are so beautiful, I don't think I could bring myself to throw it around like that.
