I see a lot of tradesmen with Makita mitre saws and circular saws. I saw the Festool Kapex recently, its a really nice saw and has a lot of features, but it is expensive compared to the Makita's and other mitre saws. I know the Festool is German made, but the Makita is Japanese made. I am just worried that the Festool can't take the abuse that the more basic mitre saws can take. But I really like Festool's TS55 circular saw and their new dust extractors.

I own the 1013 also makita makes the absolute best miter saws.. I have'nt tried the festool yet but it looks Damn nice

Nice saw, I am buying the new DeWalt DW718 12" Sliding Compound Mitre Saw soon, and I want to compare it to the Makita. I really like the Makita saw, but I chose the DeWalt because of its design and there are a few things on it that are better than the Makita. Nice Vid, are you able to tell me how good this saw is?? It would be greatly apprceiated.
