it's not just California and New York where the Latino & Immigrant vote is enormously crucial.

from CNN:

"Political common knowledge suggests the Republican candidate needs at least 40% of the Latino vote in order to hang drapes at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. In fact, Latino, Asian and other new immigrant voters may well provide the margin of victory in Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, Florida, North Carolina and Virginia."

belittling/vilifying Latinos & Immigrants is not gonna help the GOP.

How's this for an idea, all those people are employed. By US corporations. Why would a Mexican go to the US if he couldn't work there? The employers are the problem not the employees. It's typically American that you give the people responsible a free pass and fuck the victims over.

You are clearly unaware of the importance of Mexicans as slave labor in this country. They are abused, not the abusers, and without them the cost of everything from food to construction would skyrocket. They are the victims here. I say register them with Social Security numbers, get them into the tax paying system, allow them to help us all move forward as a nation. Hating on Latinos misses the point entirely. They are decent, hard working people who are very important to our way of life.
