how to repair your denso starter fast and cheap. Save money by using a denso starter repair kit from Nations Starter and Alternator. Used on Toyota, Dodge, Chrysler, Honda, Subaru and many others.
This is the best video I've found on this subject. Too bad about the extra charges for Canadians -- I find brokerage fees and extra shipping feels to be a deal breaker most of the time.
Nations charge US$26.95 plus $59.95 shipping to Canada (brokerage fee, tax...), I rather buy a rebuild starter in Canada for CAD$100. They just don't want to do business to Canadian.
They are great to deal with. I have fixed two starters with their kits. Saved over $300 by fixing my starter with their kits instead of buying another starter.
1st Thank you for the evideo. Agree Music is annoying especially after several minutes into the video and it makes it difficult to hear you. Next video I suggest recording in 720p HD so people can go full screen. TURN OFF your shop phone while recording (1:53 phone). Plan your camera moves and be aware that you move the camera, walk around the camera etc., your voice goes in and out. Best solution is record sound separately but that maybe too complicated. **Demo remove/install from car - Lexus*
We'll offer something better in the future. It's meant to be informative and instructional. Our expertise is in the starter and alternator business and not video editing. I'll offer a a new one in the future- Thanks to my flip video software for the music :)
Does it really matter which starter you are repairing? Are the kits the same for all Denso starters? I have a Honda and Toyota.

HD video - example replacing starter on a Honda using same Nations parts.
I posted this video to a Lexus User Group. I have no association with the video.
Perhaps Nations could produce something similar but better.
