You can tell that Prince poured his heart out into this one. I agree that it is the best song on the entire motion picture soundtrack. The classic song WHEN DOVES CRY was unique because it did not have a bassline ( unheard of for an 80's record ) and Prince opened up about his troubled personal life.

@dadymike87 This is the most beautiful song on the whole soundtrack. And if you have seen the movie, this is the most revealing, the most sentimental moment of the whole movie! He just bares his whole soul, right on stage, to Apollonia. He's declaring his love, which is such a hard thing for him to do as he comes from such a fucked up family. Heck, the whole movie just gives me the willies! I understand broken homes, I understand broken dreams. I also understand finding happiness. IT CAN BE!!!!
