  • It was a great price, and it was real Hida wagyu, no question about it.

  • That was Hida, not Kobe. Kobe has more marbling, but I actually prefer Hida.

  • 1680 yen....very very cheap......You probably haven't got the real stuff since it would much more expensive. Something like 5000 yen or above.

  • @newfagscanttrif0rce fat content = flavor of beef . the better the marble normally the more beefy the flavor. in small amounts its pretty good.

    In US we can wagyu beef rom Tasmania, it is really good, but I never tried the one from Japan.
