Everything Is A Sin

I've heard many christians say that something is a sin even though the bible never says it. Their explaination is that if the act leads to a sin in the bible, it is also a sin. So I went to numerous websites showing what christians view as sin. You can do it too! Just go to google and type whatever act you want and then the word "sin" and/or "bible" and you will get numerous actions christian feel are sinful.

I thought vengence was one of the 7 deadly sins? Not fear. In the movie "7" isn't vengence the final deadly sin commited?

Good catch, fear is not one of the deadly sins. fear can be considered a sin though. II Timothy 1:7 points out that, "God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind".

No God doesn't want us to experience ALL things. There are a lot of things that are considered sinful. I could/would use the Bible to back up my claims. Rather- I used knowledge that I've gained from the Bible to form my opinion & stated that as it is quite hard to have a "discussion" on here with the way the comments are set up.

you realize how conditionnal salvation is. Who said salvation was a free gift? It's not inconditional, i'm tired of people saying that salvation can't be lost. I never took drugs and i never got drunk, i never watched porno, sex isn't my thing anyway. I masturbate without fornication thoughts but i guess i'm feeding my flesh and Peter says i'm not supposed to. Sports are wrong, Paul would condemn bodybuilders and athletes spending hours building up their dream.

@thliberatedchristian I just feel the same, it's impossible to please God. If you claim having faith in him you should renounce to kill your flesh at the same time. I'm tempted to cut my balls with my garden scissors so my sexual life can die for good. If that's not enough i will take a gun and shot myself in the head, or take a knife and slit my wrists....but wait that's a sin too! Some verses of the Bible show you a good friendly God but in the other parts of the Bible

there are 2200 such sins backed up by biblical verses mostly made by catholics, pentecostals and brethren!! some of them are, french kissing your wife, touching your wife or kissing her in her private parts, eating onion, eating garlic, watching tv, singing or listening to secular song, playing musical instruments (brethren church law), choosing your life partner yourself, laughing out loud, playing sports, having a dog, having mustache, even sex for pleasure is a sin (apostle paul),..goes on

I keep feeling guilty because so many things are sins and can't control not doing these "sins" i hate feeling guilty we need a real bible, i do sins everyday i can't stop!!
