Most hang gliders stall very gently. Older high performance gliders, and new high performance gliders with the variable geometry cord pulled tight have a more abrupt stall break. All hang gliders have dive recovery and will try to level back out after the stall.
That was a stall? I thought when a hang glider stalled it sent the thing plummeting towards the ground with the pilot having to pull in hard to get the wing flying again.

contrasting-color tufts for next stall

For that reason you should avoid flying with Air France. Believe it or not, not *once* i flew with them the pilot practiced stalls.
