Quick video showing my false water cobra. Had her out while I was cleaning the tank, figured I'd give her a quick "15 minutes" of the cheapest "fame" possible, YouTube style.

I don't mean to make them sound dangerous in the video, but for people that could be hypersensitive to a bite, it's always better to be safe. Only way you'll find out if you'll have a bad reaction is to get bit, and by then... well, life could start sucking. Always treat ANY venomous snake as you would any other hot.

Do as I say, not as I do. :)

  • what veniom dos when bite with this snake will it kill you?/

  • @vautaw12345

Na, when she hit me it's was just a quick bite. Bled a little, itched a lot... but nothing any worse than that.

It's it's just important to be careful because you never know what kind of a reaction you'll have to the bite.

  • Baby girl looks like she's doing good!

  • @elwoodblues173

She's doing much better now. I've been meaning to get a new video of her, but I keep putting it off. I'll probably make a new one in the next couple of days or so since I'm going to probably be moving her tank.

  • Awesome vid an amazing snake! very interested in this species. How much and how available are they?

  • They're a little hard to find here these days... They're just not that popular. But I got her from a local breeder for about $50... good deal. I can't really say how much they'd sell for retail though, it's all about supply and demand... mainly supply.

When I take her up to my friends store to show her off, I get all kinds of people asking about where to get them... I think they'd be more popular if more people knew about them.

  • @tedescucci i am thinking of getting one and i have considered it for about 2 years

so, is the venom really that bad

i do have a hognose but that really isnt the most severe of the rear fanged snakes

ive read about the venom but maybe i could just keep the handling to the very minimum and only when necessary?

    idk
